Early Springfield built Silver Ghost

Used in the hit HBO series Boardwalk Empire

This is one of 1703 Rolls Royce motorcars built in Springfield MA. from 1921-1926. It's one of the first 50 produced at the Springfield factory. This early example has ownership history dating back to the original purchaser, a judge from the state of Maine. More recently 122JG has been seen on HBO's Boardwalk Empire as the mode of transportation for the shows main character "Nucky" Thompson, played by Steve Buscemi. The character is based on the real life of Enoch "Nucky" Johnson who ruled Atlantic City during the prohibition era and was known to be chauffered in a powder blue Rolls Royce limousine.

The REO was built in Lansing Michigan by Ranson E. Olds. Ranson sold his earlier car company (Olds Motor Works) which went on to become Oldsmobile and when merged with Cadillac and Buick was the beginning of General Motors. This amazing example was purchased by the previous owner in 1971 when he was 17 years old, he owned the car for 43 years! The car is restored in its original color combination.
